Who We Are

A Better Way is a grassroots non-profit organization consists entirely of community volunteers. We are focused on finding viable alternatives to rebuilding the BQE and reject both of the NYC DOT’s proposed plans put forward in September 2018.  We are advocating for an innovative solution that sees the decay of urban infrastructure as an opportunity to rebuild a Moses-era highway that will serve New Yorkers well into the next century.
